Swooning Along.

I must admit, after reading about some of the problems with the cutting for the Swoon blocks that I was a little intimidated.... But I'm now 2 blocks in and enjoying the Swooning quite a bit!

I decided to do my colors in purples, yellows, blacks & grays. So far, I'm really liking the color combos!

As I went to take the photo of the second block the sun finally came out of hiding for a bit. Needless to say, the yellows got washed out a little. I'll try to get some better pictures the next time, when I have another bock or two to show.

Although, I did take my camera out a night or two ago to try, yet again, to get a decent shot of the full moon. While still not a great picture, this is probably one of the best shots I've gotten of it so far. I've been playing around with the camera, trying to get away from the automatic settings.  

I'm so glad I took the camera out when I did. 10 minutes after I had gone back inside, with frozen fingers, the cloud cover moved in.
